Pricing questions.
What counts as an hour?
Wall-clock time a session is actively translating, measured per session — not per listener or per language. A 90-minute service translated into 6 languages counts as 1.5 hours, not 9. A 30-minute youth gathering counts as 0.5 hours.
What happens if we go over our included hours?
We don't interrupt your service mid-Sunday. Anything over your plan's included hours is metered at $25/hour and shows up on your next invoice — you'll see a usage warning at 80% and again at 100% so there are no surprises. Annual subscribers get a 15% buffer baked in, so you have to work harder to hit overage at all.
Why charge by hour instead of unlimited?
Translation hours have a real, per-hour cost (transcription + translation + voice synthesis in every target language). "Unlimited" plans at sub-$500 prices usually come with quiet quality caps, throttling, or shutdowns when a customer actually uses them. We'd rather be honest: you pay for what you use, and we keep quality consistent for every customer.
How does this compare to OneAccord?
OneAccord's published anchor is $150/month for 5 hours, with overage at $28/hour. We match their entry anchor at $149/month and undercut their overage at $25/hour. What's the annual deal?
Two things stacked. First, 2 months free — you pay for 10, get 12, which is a 17% discount on the headline monthly price. Second, a 15% hour buffer added to your included hours, so Congregation customers get 23 hours instead of 20 and Multi-Site customers get 69 hours instead of 60. The buffer is meant to give you breathing room for the busy seasons (Easter, Christmas, conferences) without overage anxiety.
Do you offer nonprofit, academic, or mission discounts?
Yes — 15% off Starter and Congregation for registered nonprofits, schools, and mission organizations. Mention it when you contact us. Larger discounts negotiated for denominational rollouts.
Can we cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans cancel at the end of the current billing period, no questions asked. Annual plans cancel at the end of the annual term and don't auto-renew without a confirmation email 30 days out.
Is there a setup fee?
No setup fees on any plan. Onboarding help is included on Multi-Site and Events & Enterprise. For smaller plans we offer a paid hand-off session if you want a real human walking your AV team through it, otherwise the docs and our support team get you there.
