For Churches
Make every seat
feel like home.
Live sermon translation that was built by people who've actually done it from a church sound booth. Trained on biblical terminology, paired with multilingual altar-call cards, and priced for the church — not the enterprise.

Built for the local church
From Sunday morning to the mission field.
Sunday services
The core use case. Plug in and let everyone hear the message in their language.
Prayer & small groups
Two-way conversation mode for missional groups, recovery, and Bible study.
Special services
Christmas, Easter, baptisms, funerals — moments people travel long distances to attend.
Missions & church plants
Train, equip, and pastor across language lines without flying in interpreters.
Conferences & retreats
Pulpit swaps, regional gatherings, and denominational conventions.
Kids & youth ministry
Help parents who don't speak the kids-ministry language stay connected to what their child is learning.
Features that matter on Sunday
Designed by people who've sat in your sound booth.
Every feature in MyOpenDoor Translate started as a real problem in a real church — not a wish list from a product manager.
Trained on biblical terminology
Our glossaries already understand Yahweh, Selah, Kingdom of God, propitiation, and a few thousand other terms you don't want translated as 'thing.' Add your church's own phrases and your translations get sharper every week.
Altar-call decision cards
Built-in multilingual altar-call cards mean a Spanish-speaking visitor responding to the call gets a follow-up card in Spanish. No more handing every guest the same English card and hoping for the best.
Moderation mode
Got a pastor with an unusual accent, a Greek deep-dive, or a sensitive message? Optionally route the transcript through a moderator who can correct it in real time before it's translated.
ProPresenter + OBS overlay
Display live captions on the main screens for your in-room congregation, and as a lower-third on your livestream. Same data, two outputs, zero extra setup.
Multi-site campuses
Run translation at every campus simultaneously, each with its own session, branding, and listener page. Central admin sees the whole org at once.
Pastoral support, not just a help desk
We know what Sunday morning feels like. When something goes sideways, you get a person who's set up audio in a church basement themselves — not a generic SaaS chat bot.
Unique to MyOpenDoor
Altar calls in every language.
When the pastor extends an invitation, MyOpenDoor Translate shows your listener their next step — a decision card, prayer card, or follow-up form — in the language they've been listening in.
We ship pre-designed cards in 11 languages, and your team can customize each one with your church's branding, follow-up details, and pastoral language.
I want to follow Jesus today

Why MyOpenDoor
Translation that sounds like worship, not a GPS.
Most AI translation was built for business meetings. We've tuned ours for the rhythm, theology, and weight of a worship service.
Voices that feel human
We use natural-sounding TTS voices selected for warmth, calibrated to sermon pacing. Your congregation won't feel like they're listening to Siri preach.
A theology that travels
Our glossary system protects key terms across languages. 'Holy Spirit' doesn't get rendered as 'holy ghost movie' in Russian. (Yes, this happens with off-the-shelf AI.)
A team that's been there
Many of us moved abroad and sat in churches where we couldn't understand a word. We know what this feature unlocks because we've been on the other side of it.
“The first Sunday we used it, a Korean grandmother came up after the service with tears in her eyes. She said it was the first time she had truly heard a sermon in two years — and she had been showing up faithfully every week.”
FAQ
Questions church teams ask
Will this replace our volunteer interpreters?
We don't think it should. If you have a strong interpreting team, keep them — and use MyOpenDoor Translate for the languages they can't cover, or for the weeks they can't be there. The two work together beautifully.
Does it work with our existing AV setup?
Almost certainly yes. We accept clean audio from any mixer (USB or analog via interface), straight from a laptop mic, or piped in from a video conferencing app. If your audio works for the livestream, it works for us.
We're a small church. Is this overkill?
Our smallest plan is built specifically for congregations under 200. You're not buying enterprise software — you're buying the right tool for the family God has put in front of you.
How do altar-call decision cards work?
When a guest responds to the call, the next visible step (decision card, prayer card, follow-up form) is automatically shown to them in the language they were listening in. We start you with a pre-built set in 11 languages and you can customize each one for your church.
Can we display the translation on the main screens?
Yes. We provide a ProPresenter source and an OBS lower-third overlay out of the box. Pick a language to show on the room screens, or rotate through several.
Is it secure?
Audio chunks are stored encrypted in our infrastructure and are auto-purged on a schedule you control. Transcripts and translations belong to your church — you can export and delete them at any time.
